Reza Farahan, Teck Holmes, and Kristen Doute Crown are ‘The GOAT’s’ Shadiest Star In the Cast [Interview]

Determining the greatest reality star of all time is no easy task, but Freevee's new reality TV competition series, "The GOAT," is here to tackle that very challenge. The show gathers a diverse group of reality TV stars from various genres to compete in a series of challenges, all vying for the title of the GOAT. Among the cast are several notable personalities from Bravo, including Jill Zarin, Reza Farahan, and Kristen Doute, who bring their signature drama to the competition. Despite the often absurd nature of the challenges, the show remains fiercely competitive, with alliances forming and plenty of shade being thrown around. But who stands out as the shadiest star among them?

Reza Farahan, Teck Holmes, and Kristen Doute shared their thoughts on their toughest competition. Initially, camaraderie prevailed among the contestants, but it quickly shifted to rivalry once the competition began. Teck, known for his time on "The Challenge," saw Wendell Holland and Da'Vonne Rogers as significant threats. He noted, "I found out on the set that Wendell had won Survivor. So, you know, that was an eye-opening experience for me. You got to keep an eye out on someone who's been on the challenge a few times because they know how to play a nasty cutthroat game."

Reza Farahan, Teck Holmes, and Kristen Doute Share Who They Felt Was Their Biggest Competition

Kristen focused on strategy, observing the pre-existing relationships among contestants. “In the very beginning, it was kind of figuring out who knew each other previously. I have Reza and Jill; we’ve made this little alliance, but now have the Netflix people made one? Or have The Challenge people made one? So it was kind of trying to figure all of that out.”

Reza had a specific competitor in mind, emphasizing the "old lady factor," likely referring to Jill Zarin. He mentioned, “On The Traitors, people were underestimating the older lady who ended up winning. And on our show, there was an old lady element in the house.” His remarks suggested that Jill Zarin, whom he considered a "wolf in sheep's clothing," was a formidable opponent.

Reza also had strong opinions about Jill's behavior in the house, particularly her obsession with Diet Coke. Kristen noted, “[Jill] talks about diet Coke all day long, just so we don't know that she's actually [playing].” Reza humorously described her fixation, saying, “She would literally open a diet Coke, move it, and be like, ‘Who took my diet Coke? How come there’s no Diet Cokes in the fridge? Why can’t anyone do anything right in this house? I need my diet Coke.’” He added, “I'm like, ‘Girl you are a crackhead with this!’” Teck suggested that Jill should get a Diet Coke endorsement, which would be amusing for Bravo fans.

The topic then shifted to who the shadiest person in the house was. Reza immediately named Jill, while Kristen pointed to Reza, saying, “Toward the end of my time on the GOAT, when I felt my time was going to end? Reza. I love him to pieces, [but] I should have known better. Like, that's my Bravo boy. Of course, he knows how to be cutthroat.” Teck chose to stay out of it, preferring not to speak about anyone not present.
